Samsung Smart Window

CES is the world's largest consumer technology trade show, at which this year Samsung has unveiled a new "transparent" window screen called "Samsung Smart Window". With this new window Samsung has brought the whole "Minority Report" experience straight into the real world!

The "Samsung Smart Window" is about to go into mass production and we should be able to buy one pretty soon. 8-)

Food, clothing, shelter and now broadband!

Food, clothing and shelter are basic human needs. But come July 2010, every person in Finland will have the right to a one-megabit broadband connection.

With this Finland becomes the world's first country to create a law guaranteeing broadband access.

Further to that, by end of 2015 the government will make a 100 Mb broadband connection a legal right. Some variation will be allowed, if connectivity can be arranged through mobile phone networks.

It will be interesting to see which other countries follow suit. :-D
