Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel challenged the parents of America to tell their kids that they ate all their Halloween candy and then video tape their reactions. The parents then had to share these videos on YouTube under the heading "Hey Jimmy Kimmel I told my kid I ate all their Halloween candy."

Daring moms and dads across the U.S. followed the talk show host's request. The frenzied responses were then pieced together by Jimmy Kimmel in a best of video…

Lenovo, one of the world's largest laptop brands, has developed a series of online viral videos for their latest flagship product - the ThinkPad T420. In a series of videos they have tried to highlight all the extra time one can have as the laptop has proven features such as faster graphics performance, faster boot up, faster wireless connections, faster data transfer, etc.

Mobistar is Belgium's leading mobile operator and largest advertiser. Over time they have become known for their lousy customer service. So VRT Television from Belgium decided to prank Mobistar on January 10, 2011. After which the prank was broadcasted on their new "Basta comedy show". Mathieu, the security guard from Mobistar became a folk hero overnight for his friendly demeanor.

The modern consumers are tired of brands running overpromising brand messages through advertising. Their needs are very simple and straightforward. Therefore brands should first use more of their budgets to improve their products and (customer) services and then later deliver advertising campaigns that bring out their outstanding brand experience.
